Hi, I'm Hope.
I'm a wife, a mother, and "Mimi" to four beautiful grandchildren who are my life. My candle-making journey started when I wanted to make a candle for my daughter, who is obsessed with candles and melts. I fell in love with the process, and after a lot of research and testing, I decided to go for it.
While I was testing scents, the smells reminded me of places and people, so the name of each candle grew from there. Scent is personal and can carry you to another time and place. I hope you find one that holds a special meaning for you.
Thank you for choosing Simply Hope Candle Co. I'm honored to be part of your home.

Questions we hear at markets
Are your candles handmade?
Yes. Every product is hand-poured in small batches with clean, high-quality ingredients for a beautiful, long-lasting burn.
What wax do you use?
100% soy wax, a cleaner-burning renewable option. Candles are free from parabens and phthalates, with double cotton wicks.
How long will my candle burn?
8 oz candles burn about 30–40 hours. Trim the wick to ¼" before each burn to get the most from it.
How should I care for my candle?
Trim the wick to ¼", let the wax melt edge to edge on the first burn, burn no longer than 3–4 hours at a time, use a heat-safe surface, and stop when ½" of wax remains.
Are your products safe for pets?
They're made with clean ingredients, but every pet is different. Burn candles in well-ventilated rooms and keep products out of reach of pets.
What if my order arrives damaged?

Do you take custom or bulk orders?
Yes. Gifts, events, showers and bulk orders are some of Hope's favorite projects. Use the form below.
How do I use a reed diffuser?
Soak the reeds for an hour, flip them, then flip again whenever the scent fades, usually weekly. Use fewer reeds in small rooms.
